Privacy Policy — IXL Center Peru RD&I Management Platform
Last updated: August 2026
This application ("the Platform") is developed and operated by IXL Center for the purpose of supporting a research and advisory engagement between IXL Center, CONCYTEC, and the World Bank, focused on research, development, and innovation (R&D&I) management practices across Peru's public research institutes (IPIs).
Access is limited to a defined set of individuals directly involved in this engagement, including IXL Center staff, CONCYTEC representatives, World Bank stakeholders, and designated contacts at Peru's 13 public research institutes. The Platform is not intended for general public use.
What information the Platform accesses
To provide its functionality, the Platform may access:
Google Sheets data: the Platform reads from, and in some cases writes to, a specific Google Sheets workbook maintained by the project team, which contains research findings, framework analyses, and workshop outcomes related to this engagement. This access is limited to the specific workbook designated for this project — the Platform does not access any other Sheets in a user's Google Drive.
User-submitted information: names, institutional affiliations, and responses submitted through in-app tools (such as surveys, votes, and feedback forms) are stored to support the project's research objectives.
Information accessed or collected through the Platform is used solely to:
Populate and update the Platform's research dashboards and reference materials
Support workshop and survey activities conducted as part of this engagement
Generate summaries and reports for the project team, CONCYTEC, and the World Bank
Information is not sold, shared with third parties outside this engagement, or used for advertising purposes.
Data storage and retention
Data submitted through the Platform is stored using Google Apps Script's built-in storage mechanisms, associated with this specific project. Data is retained for the duration of the engagement and may be archived or deleted at its conclusion, at the discretion of the IXL Center project team.
The Platform may make requests to the Anthropic API (Claude) solely to support internal features such as automated translation and summarization of project content. No personal user data is transmitted to this service as part of these requests.
Individuals who believe their information has been submitted to the Platform in error, or who wish to have their submitted information removed, may contact the project team using the details below.
